Okinawa is attractive when mainland Japan is cold, but the golf plan should respect wind, rain, and driving distance. Many visitors underestimate how long it takes to move between Naha, resort areas, and courses.

For five days, two rounds is comfortable and three rounds is realistic if the hotel and rental car plan are clear.

Day-by-day route

Day 1: arrive in Naha, pick up a rental car, and drive to the hotel. Confirm the first round, rental clubs, and weather.

Day 2: first round. Choose a course that is not too far from the hotel, especially if you are new to driving in Okinawa.

Day 3: second round or resort/rest day. If the wind is strong, a course that looks easy on the scorecard may play much harder.

Day 4: third round if the trip is focused on golf. Otherwise, keep this as a flexible weather day and move the golf if needed.

Day 5: depart. Keep enough time for rental-car return at Naha Airport.
